Counseling
Your well-being is my ultimate concern. Since 2020, I have provided patients a wide range of psychological and counseling services to suit their needs. Whether you’re an individual, a couple or a family looking for help - my therapy sessions are designed to strengthen your confidence, and assist you in the healing process. CBT
Through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy or CBT my main role is to help individuals identify their thoughts and behaviors, specifically regarding their relationships, surroundings, and life, so that they can influence those thoughts and behaviors for the better. This modality is often used with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders and/or mood disorders.
DBT
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a modified type of CBT. Main goals of DBT are to teach people how to live in the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate their emotions, and improve their relationships with others. This modality is used commonly to treat self destructive behaviors like addictions, eating disorder, and/or self harm.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy treatment that was originally designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories (Shapiro, 1989a, 1989b). Shapiro’s (2001) Adaptive Information Processing model posits that EMDR therapy facilitates the accessing and processing of traumatic memories and other adverse life experience to bring these to an adaptive resolution.
